My first fire was a spectale. Lots of flames.

I was bout six years old, and told my mom that I was bored.
She said "Stop bugging me. Go do something somewhere else"
I did. I snatched her matchbook and went out in the yard and played with fire.
Well, it got out of hand.

Half the neighborhood went up in flame s. I persuaded my younger sis to stay inside and pretend yhat nothing was happening, as if that would absolve me of any wrongdoing. Sirens and screaming...
Hey, I'm just playing monopoly with my sister. No way could I be responsible.
What a day. I think my mom knew. She gave me the stink eye.

Hell, I almost once blew up my grandpas farm. Playing with gunpowder next to a leaky tank of gasoline wasn't one of my better ideas.

I also almost shot my sister. I found a rifle in the garage and pointed it at the dirt outside of the door and pulled the trigger. A half second later my little sis ran up to exactly where the bullet passed.
I've never touched a gun since.

I was shaken to my core. I kept seeing her laying there dead. It almost happened.
It didn't, but that other possibly kept playing in my mind over and over. It was sickening.
