The sun is our friend. I like to get outside everyday for some reason. Vitamin D is made by being exposed to the sunshine.

The human body is basically perfect. The entire formula for good health is in the DNA. All we have to do is eat nutritional foods. There are many components the body can not manufacture. There are vitamins, fats, minerals, and amino acids that are essential. The essential items have to be extracted from the water or food. Most health problems are caused by malnutrition. It used to be that malnutrition was caused by a shortage of food. In the modern world malnutrition is because processed foods are deficient in nutrients. The processing destroys or removes the nutrition. The mad scientists have also added chemicals that could be harmful. The basic ingredients of processed food are sugar, white flour, and vegetable oil. They destroy your health with malnutrition over time.

The minimum exercise is to walk a mile a day.
Lifting weights is good at least once a week. How much and how often is a personal choice. More is not really better. Too much can cause injury.
Running, bicycling, or swimming are good. I prefer bicycling at least once a week.
The body adapts to what you do. The worse thing is to stop an activity for a long period. At least do it once a week to maintain.

A point about vitamins and supplements. For some of them more is better. Some like selenium, chromium, iron, and vitamin A could be toxic in high doses.
