No power big mess our village wiped out. My house did not flood. My daughter’s boyfriend has severe flooding on beach. Water is thigh high throughout House. No beach access, all main bridges closed too. Most of county w no power.

Only sounds outside are sirens, helicopters and a few generators.

The closest pub posted on our community page that they are open. I appreciate that! Our village pubs seaside where all gather to charge phones on portable setups etc. have been wiped away w storm surge.
Will have to take a drive out to charge up phones soon.

With a little gizmo you could charge the phone in the car
I bought a solar panel and a power station with a lithium battery.

I’m sure we have those around. Strat just showed me where the portable charger is. It can crank a car. He put it at Central location for our phones.
This really caught us by surprise. The storm was 100 miles out. Not expecting this surge. This is a a record breaking surge!!! Many businesses and eateries along the water are gone, as well as homes for about 2 blocks from water and larger areas in low lying nabes. Is a mess. Still can’t cross any bridges.
And still no power.
