I think I was in atlanta
by myself
was at a small venue, perhaps a non-profit space
there was a band, silly band, silly music
a modern polka sound
I wondered why I was there

while leaving the event a young woman approached me
in my dream I had feeling I was a professor at my undergrad college
and she was perhaps one of my students from the past
I dunno
I didn't recognize her but we exchanged pleasantries
she asked what I was up to and when I told her, she looked at me and said
"are you sure?"

I asked her why she would ask that...
and she gave me a name
a first and last name
but this name is a name i've never ever heard. I know no one w this name. Have never heard it before!

I was in a waking up stage, so in my dream I made sure to ask the young woman about this name
I asked her..."and what field is this [name] in?"
she said 'PHYSICS'

at this point in my waking state
I started repeating the name over and over trying to wake up so I could write it down
I woke up from dream with [name] and 'physics'
it was 4am
strat was out walking dog already

and there he is
the chair of the Physics dept. at a university far away

that's online
he was an athlete at his undergrad which afforded him a big scholarship to
england to get his masters and doctrate degrees
he came back to states and has been teaching at same uni since
he has good ratings from students...quirky, enthusiastic yet v hard courses
