My friends who live off grid in Bocas needed a generator but housed it properly and it was not loud AND there was no need to run it all fucking day and night!!!!
I would go nuts from the sound [as I sit here listening to this wall of abusive noise 2 streets over!!!!
Tellin ya it’s rude and obnoxious!
Unless you’re a restaurant w a walk-in freezer or a hospital, no generators!!!
Most of our local restaurants gave away all food or are currently grilling everything up and giving away.
Strat picked up pulled pork, chicken, grilled hamburgers and hotdogs for lunch from our local who are busy grilling in middle of street w no power! He traded them an uncooked pork tenderloin that they were happy to throw on the grill as well!

I have a solar panel, 100 watt, enough to charge phone.
Some of my neighbors have those fancy natural gas generators that kick in automatically,

Strat has a portable 500 watt jump start/ power invector thingy that charges all our phones.
Most people just jump in their car to power a phone.
